此《苍玉洞宋人题名》由清代金石学家刘喜海编。清道光十三年，作者出守福建临汀（今长汀）知县，在城东苍玉洞，拓得宋人（始于庆历到宝庆时期及无年月者）题名三十七种，后缩临成册，略注数语刊行此书一卷，前附版画四幅。此为清道光十四年东武刘喜海味经书屋刊本。

刘氏曾在陕西、四川等地作官，获得关中所出的周代铜器、 秦诏版、汉封泥、新莽十布、 唐善业泥等物；在四川则收集到宋代的多种铜钱和保存于巴蜀的历代碑刻拓本。其中有些为前人所未见。他所得的古器物和拓本之多，在清后期是不多见的。他曾打算利用自己藏品中的几千余种金石拓片来编集一部上百卷的金石苑，但因卷帙太多，未能编成，只将其中一小部分编为未分卷的《[金石苑](https://old.shuge.org/ebook/san-ba-jin-shi-yuan/)》。该书著录了保存于四川的汉至唐、宋的碑刻等物,书中的碑刻、器物，多绘出缩小的图形，刻文按原来的款式、书体摹写。

此《苍玉洞宋人题名》版心虽题：**金石苑**，但为单行本，未刊入《金石苑》一书。

刘喜海（1793年—1852年）字燕庭，一作燕亭，又字吉甫，山东诸城人，祖籍江南省砀山县（明弘治间始祖福公自南直隶砀山县迁山东诸城县）。清嘉庆二十一年（1816）举人。清代金石学家、古泉学家、藏书家。
